Project methodology

Based on an agreed preliminary framework of analysis, each partner conducts a case study in their own area.
The information collected is then exchanged and compared in order to provide the basis for further elaborating the framework and defining the architecture of the Information System.
Topics for thematic analysis will be distributed among partners according to their specific areas of expertise.
Thematic studies will then be integrated into an evaluation instrument providing the foundation for the development of assessment and restoration guidelines. Interactive tools and strategies will be used in order to disseminate the results.
Periodic meetings of the 4 partners from 3 European countries are essential in order to ensure the coherence of the project and to establish a common basis for cooperation, problem definition, methodological approach and agreement on work stages. The work plan takes this challenge into account.
The meetings will be used to agree on work procedures, exchange information and determine the next steps. At the same time, a final international workshop will also take place to foster contact, discussion and information exchange with local regional, national and international decision makers, politicians, planners and technical experts.
Thus potential users of the results generated will be directly involved as evaluation partners in the project. This ensures not only interdisciplinary collaboration among the national contractor teams, but also a cross-disciplinary component in which the exchange with potential users is sought as a final assessment of the results of the project.
